ANNOUNCEMENT

Earlier today we announced a reduction in opening hours in an attempt to continue to help as many of our members as possible under the awful circumstances we are all currently facing.

With great sadness I regret that I have to further announce that with immediate effect The Reach for Health Centre is now fully closed until further notice. This is in line with the Government’s announcement and instructions given at 5:15 pm on Friday 20th March 2020.

In anticipation of this the outstanding team at The Reach for Health Centre have been working on ways that we can offer our help remotely. Please keep watch on our website and Facebook for updates from Monday 23rd March.

I wish all of our members, volunteers, staff, trustees and their families a safe and healthy time ahead. I look forward to seeing you all in the not too distant future.

My very best wishes

Rob Juson

Chair of Trustees

Thank you

We would like to a moment to say thank you to the members who usually pay cash for their membership but have now set up a monthly direct debit with us to maintain their fees despite not attending for the time being.  This level of support and reassurance for the continuation of income for the centre means everything to us.  It is uncertain for all of us at the moment what the coming months will bring. By pulling together and doing what we can to keep the centre that we love and so many others love and rely on is imperative. Thank you again!  🧡🧡🧡

COVID-19 Update

The Reach for Health Centre is responding to the Government’s guidance and has therefore put into place the following actions which will take effect as of tomorrow 21.03.20

We will be reducing our opening hours to 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday. (Closed Saturday & Sunday)

Regrettably we cannot allow anyone aged 70 or over access into the centre. Anyone younger, who is known to be within the vulnerable category, are asked to contact a member of the team for clarification.

As events are changing by the hour, we are working hard to adapt our level of service to you in order to keep both you and our team safe and protected.

Thank you for your help and support. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the centre. With best wishes from the Staff & Trustees at The Reach for Health Centre.

Aiden’s Story

Everyone who knows about The Reach for Health Centre will know that you, or someone you love, may need help from the team at Reach for Health one day.

This day came for my family in 2015 when my cousin and best mate, Kyle Hughes, found out that he had an abnormal growth on his brain. In order to save his life, an operation was needed. This surgery left him with some difficult battles to fight to get back to the life he knew.

This is when Reach for Health stepped in and have helped Kyle on this long road to recovery. The rehabilitation team have been awesome and we see the improvements every week.

I will be running the Manchester Marathon and hope to raise some money for Reach for Health to be able to get the new specialist equipment they need to continue helping Kyle and many others who attend the Centre.

Please donate what you can, you never know if and when you will need charities like Reach for Health.

Thanks, Aiden
