1. Health & Fitness Gym

Although not a commercial gym, The Reach for Health Centre has always focused on people wanting to maintain a good level of fitness combined with a healthy lifestyle, particularly as we grow older. The expertise at the Centre is available to those without underlying health conditions who just want to be as fit and healthy as they can be.

2. Health Rehabilitation

The Reach for Health Centre major in physical and mental health rehabilitation together with active wellness. This covers a multitude of illnesses and health conditions such as sports injuries, pre & post joint replacements to Stroke survivors, Heart issues, Diabetes, etc. Members who fall into these categories are mostly referred by their GP’s, Hospital Doctors or Health Care Professional.

Our team at The Reach for Health Centre have wide-ranging skills that are all focused on one specific purpose, health rehabilitation. Although many of our users are from Daventry and the surrounding villages, we provide continuing exercise based physical and mental health rehabilitation for people from communities across Northamptonshire, from Warwickshire and sometimes further afield.

There can be times when life hits us with an unexpected challenge; unfortunately this often tends to be a health issue.  However, if we experience a major health trauma or suffer a long-term illness we cannot expect the NHS to take responsibility for us beyond getting us back to safe and reasonable health. Following a major health trauma, e.g. a stroke or major heart surgery, the NHS can only offer their services for a limited period of time.  Whilst the NHS may continue to monitor us we have to take responsibility for ourselves in coming to terms with our situation and finding the will, determination and means of gaining as much improvement in our physical and mental wellbeing as possible.  This is what The Reach for Health Centre helps with and does so well.

The Reach for Health Centre is here to help with a wide range of physical and mental health rehabilitation needs.  These can range from short term help with for example, weight loss, sports injury, pre & post joint replacement to more long term conditions such as, multiple sclerosis, cardiac problems, cancer, stroke and much more.
